Because of the heavy pushing of the word "heir" as well as the scripture Romans 8:16,17 I wanted to take a moment and explain what it is scripture says about being an heir. Specifically focusing on Romans 8:12-17.
Paul first explains the fact that when we received the Spirit it was not for us to remain in bondage, enslaved, and fearful. He reiterates the fact that the Spirit that was to free us was not given to us so we could continue to live as slaves.
